Missed the Wednesday ride ... stuck in traffic in the OC.
Was very glad to be back in Paradise today.
Beautiful evening. Got a late start, about 6:00p.
Caught up w/Edge on the last 2 miles.
Anyway light traffic, great temperature, not too hot.
Saw several tarantulas, they seem to be out early this year.
Got a good picture of Mt Baldy this evening.

Ate Lunch on the way back from Arcadia at Pepe's Tacos, 39 & Sierra Madre..
Good food, yum.
Then rode back up GMR & GRR
Intercepted Edge at the top of Monroe (turnaround on MWF ride), and then  Home.

I hike up the day before and spend the night, to wake on the peak.
A wonderful experience.
Sunrise on the peak is about 6:20a
The evening was windy 40 degree gusting to 30

Not so good news
Last night during our ride B had a flat at mile marker 6,
on the decent of the reward climb.
This is the curve I call 50 mph corner, the main picture on my Bicycle page.
Anyway, a slow flat, rear tire, he didn't realize it until the middle of the turn,
at 20+ where he slid out and into the wall.
He fractured his spine 2 places, T2 & T11
