Nice ride across the San Fernando Valley, not too hot.
B met me in Duarte, he had a car in Claremont.
Got a ride up the hill, home to Mt Baldy.
A great week away on the road.

It was clear in the Village.
Hit a wall of fog at the top of Cow Cyn. The rest of the ride was shrouded in fog.
Saw Steve climbing the Reward pitch, he is practicing for L' Etape.
Met Dave riding back from Baldy, and rode with him to the Maint Shack.
The fog turned to mist on the way back, but was clear again from the top Cow Cyn
back into the Village.

40 degrees when we returned.
YeeOw, Paradise was an Icebox.
Saw no other riders today.
There have been more this season, out practicing for the
L'Etape du California. Amateur stage 7 and
Tour of California. Professional stage 7

Rode the Baldy/GMR/GRR loop.
Got stopped at a horse/car/utility pole accident on GMR at the Dalton cyn turnoff.
Took a bypass at the Ranger station/Dam.
Had the GMR road all to ourselves.
Saw Ron riding down GMR.
The ride through Paradise was a beauty this evening.

For as nice an evening as is was, it was quiet in Paradise.
When I rode out I didn't see any other cars, mc, or bicycles.
At the maint shed I saw 1 bicyclist ride up GMR when I was getting ready to leave.
Talked a little bicycle with Romeo before starting my return to Baldy.
Nice meeting you.
Saw B on the way back to Baldy, but no more vehicles.
